I am Nuno Varajão Barbosa, Director of Intercultural Association Mobility Friends. I work in education/training/european projects 17 years ago.

I am writing to introduce our organization as your Portuguese partner for international mobility projects.

We are interested in working with you either in your already approved Leonardo da Vinci Mobility project(s) and Erasmus placements in 2012-2013 and/or in your new projects to be submitted in the next call for proposals.

Intercultural Association Mobility Friends, is the oldest and most experienced in the organization of mobility in the cities of Braga and Barcelos, the head office is situated in the town of Barcelos, Braga (Portuguese Rome) District, in the region of Minho, northern Portugal, very close Atlantic Ocean, specializes in European Internships programs under the Lifelong Learning Programme.

Our staff is prepared to organize mobilities in Braga, Barcelos, Esposende Beach, Praia da Rocha - Algarve and Madeira.

During the year 2012 we received approximately 265 participants as people with mental and physical disabilities, students from vocational schools and universities, erasmus students, workers, teachers, headmasters, responsible for training centers and experts of leonardo da vinci projects, from 16 countries: Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Ireland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Hungary, Slovenia, Turkey, Lithuania and Egypt.

Our team are young, diverse, professional and energetic, we fulfil requirements to the highest expectations and promptly. We like to ensure everyone has a smile on their face by the end of their visit, often many don’t want to leave!

As participant and responsible for developing and coordinating projects Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Gruntvig, I visited Turkey, Switzerland, Bosnia, Montenegro, Croatia, Norway in Europe and all European Union countries.

Fernando Carvalho, who is the responsible for the work placements in our organization, work in education/training 15 years ago and acquired a lot of experience in the work placements and monitoring of trainees, after to visit about 20 countries of the European Union for to participate in a lot of Comenius and Leonardo da Vinci Projects.

Intercultural Association Mobility friends also acts as a hosting organization for VETPRO projects organizing meetings, work visits, study visits, round table discussions in a wide range of subjects, including thematic regarding the analysis and the comparison between the different European educational systems, schools management, the international co-operation among schools, the comparison and study of innovative methodologies, and SME adaptation to the European market.
To all our participants we provide the following services:

·   Work placements with professional Companies in your chosen area prior to your entry to the Portugal;

·    Work visits and study visits for teachers, students and experts of every sector;

From our experience, we know that a thoroughly prepared project has more likelihood of gaining the final approval from its relevant National Agency. For that reason, please do contact us and let us know your project idea so that we can start working together to arrange your project proposal.

In 2012, our staff collaborated in the development of our project partners, which were approved in 13 countries (Spain, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Greece, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria).

For to make you an suitable offer I would need the informations about the project, the participants and also to know when you are interested in come to Portugal to participate in your mobility.

We have good prices for groups. We adapt to his budget.

We work with groups of all ages, from both higher educational and vocational courses in a whole range of areas. We also received groups with participants with special educational needs.

We would be glad to provide you with further information and welcome you for a preparatory visit in our region.

We are also available to be partners in projects of Comenius, Grundtvig and Youth in Action. If your project is not appropriate for our participation, we will try to get a Portuguese partner or another country to be your partner.
